Yes, depending on the leverage ratio. The leverage system is one of the most important features of the Forex market. As this ratio increases, the risk increases proportionally. The leverage effect can lead to high gains but also to high losses. As a result of adverse price movements, you may lose all of the collateral you have deposited. However, the amount you may lose will not be more than the collateral you have deposited. By law, the maximum leverage ratio that can be applied is 1:10.
If you have an investment account with QNB Invest, it is sufficient to sign the Forex agreement and submit it to your customer representative to carry out leveraged buying and selling transactions.
Yes, there is a minimum limit application of 50,000 TL or its equivalent in foreign currency to perform Forex transactions.

The Capital Markets Board (SPK) has changed the maximum leverage ratio applied in leveraged trading transactions and the initial margin amounts required to execute leveraged trading transactions in the Communiqué Series:III-37.1 on the Principles Regarding Investment Services and Activities and Ancillary Services (“Communiqué”), and these changes were published in the Official Gazette on 10.02.2017.
According to the aforementioned Communiqué: The leverage ratio in leveraged transactions is the ratio that shows the position amount that can be taken against the collateral amount deposited for the transaction. The leverage ratio to be applied when the position is first opened in leveraged transactions cannot exceed 10:1. Investors can also use 1:1 and 1:10 leverage options, provided they adhere to the maximum leverage ratios.

As per the SPK communiqué, it is mandatory to execute at least 50 transactions over a minimum of 6 business days in the demo account before opening a real Forex account.
Transactions at banks and currency exchange offices are done manually, whereas in Forex, transactions are performed quickly in an online environment. The bid-ask spread in the Forex market is much narrower than that in banks and currency exchange offices. The leverage applied in Forex is not available in banks and currency exchange offices. While Forex markets trade 24 hours a day, you can only trade during business hours at banks and currency exchange offices. Therefore, in Forex markets, you can execute larger-scale transactions with much lower costs and around the clock.

Margin deposit transactions are carried out between 09:00 and 17:45. You can perform margin withdrawal transactions between 09:00 and 17:45 if your free margin is sufficient. However, you can withdraw the profit amount earned during the day on the T+1 business day between 09:00 and 17:45.
